Year 9 students will complete a full year of English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) and Health & Physical Education (HPE), which includes a term of Food Technology. They will choose a compulsory semester of The Arts and Technologies.

Year 9 students are also able to undertake a one-semester Language course (either Indonesian or Japanese), leaving one choice semester. If they do not choose to study a Language, they will have two choice semesters.
